Using GLand Lite

GPS Area Measure - GLand Lite helps you estimate land area, distance, and volume using map or GPS points. These terms describe use of the app and this website. Contact the GLand Lite team at glandmeasure@gmail.com for app or purchase support.

Use the app lawfully and only enter, import, photograph, or share information you are entitled to use. Respect other people’s privacy and property, and do not attempt to access another user’s account or interfere with connected services.

Measurements are estimates

Results depend on point placement, GPS accuracy, map imagery, and the values you enter. Volume is calculated from a base area and the height or depth you supply. Map imagery can be incomplete or out of date.

A measurement is not a certified land boundary, proof of ownership, or an official survey. Check the points, units, and calculations before using a result for a decision. Where certified measurements are needed, use the relevant professional survey or official records.

Auto trace parcel is experimental. Its suggested outline can follow the wrong edge or miss features, and interior holes such as ponds are not deducted automatically. Review the preview and correct its points before applying or saving it.

Your projects and backups

You manage your saved measurements and can export them. Keep a separate copy of important work before clearing app data, replacing a device, or uninstalling the app. Signing in alone does not back up your projects.

Cloud backup and restore require a signed-in account and Premium where offered. The app retains the latest 10 cloud snapshots per account through its cleanup process. Existing snapshots can still be listed and deleted after Premium expires. Local data, cloud backups, and exported copies are separate; deleting one does not automatically remove the others.

Premium and store billing

Where Premium is available, the purchase screen shows the current price, billing period, benefits, and renewal terms before you buy. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew according to the terms shown by Google Play or Apple. Feature availability can depend on the platform and app version.

The store processes payment. Manage or cancel renewal through the account used to purchase, and use the store’s process for refund requests. Uninstalling the app, signing out, or deleting your GLand Lite account does not cancel a subscription. Account deletion can be requested separately from subscription cancellation.

Verified store purchases determine Premium access. You can buy and restore without signing in to GLand Lite; use the store account that made the purchase to restore an active membership on the same platform. Android and iOS memberships are separate and do not transfer through GLand Lite sign-in. Cloud backup still requires a GLand Lite account and active Premium on the current platform. Connectivity may be needed to refresh purchase status. On Android, the app may temporarily retain access for up to 24 hours after a successful store check; an unavailable or stale check is not a subscription expiry date. A successful store result that no longer contains an entitled subscription removes access. Store purchase terms and any applicable consumer rights continue to apply.

Connected services and availability

Maps, search, ads, sign-in, cloud storage, and purchases rely on external services and may need an internet connection. Their availability, coverage, and applicable provider terms can affect a feature. Follow the relevant provider’s terms when using map content, custom layers, or exported imagery.

We may update the app and its features. Keep important exports and backups, and review any changed terms presented with an update or purchase.

Leaving the service

You can stop using the app and request deletion of your GLand Lite account and associated cloud data in the app or by email. Requests are handled manually within 30 days of receipt, with confirmation when complete. Save any data you need first and manage your subscription separately through the store.

Explicitly signing in again can cancel a pending in-app request after cancellation is confirmed. To withdraw an email request, contact the team directly. See the account deletion page for the steps and what is removed.
